Loss Of A Founding & Life Member
Our Thoughts Are With His Family At This Time
It is with a heavy heart that we have lost and have to say goodbye to the ex-landlord of the Southampton Arms, founding member and friend Elmer. He was the landlord at the time the club was first created and for those who knew him will remember him as a very kind, caring and genuine man who has been a member of this society since the very beginning. Elmer was also awarded life membership several years ago, one of only 2 members to receive the honor.
Our thoughts are with his wife Barbara, family and friends during this very difficult time. A minute’s silence will be held at the next club shoot which is going to be on Sunday 25th of January 2026 at Bisley. We will also be toasting him after the shoot with a pie and a pint at the ground.
