Losing A 50 Year Old Shoot

AS POSTED BY GLC

ATTENTION ONE AND ALL!!

It is with much sadness and deepest regret that we have to inform you that next Sunday, 26th February will be OUR LAST EVER SHOOT.

Ade & Max very recently received a phone call from the owner of the grounds informing them that the land that we shoot on has been sold to the local council. Unfortunately, this means that after 50 odd years, it will never be a shooting ground again.

As this will be our last shoot, let’s make it one to remember! Everyone far and wide is welcome to come and join us! Customers new and old, faces we’ve never seen before and faces we see every shoot. Every paying customer will receive a free piece of merchandise whilst stock lasts. So please come and join us to send G&L clays off with the almighty bang that it truly deserves.

All of us at Gosport & Lee on Solent Clay Target Club would like to thank you for your loyalty and support, without people like yourself we could never had made a shooting club of such calibre.

I’m sure all our members are gutted by losing this shoot, especially how much effort has been put into the shooting and its members. These guys have put so much effort into building a premier ground that losing it is insulting. I hope this isn’t the end for you all as you deserve a ground because your vision is amazing.

What a awful blow, I only found out today, the closest place now is Titchfield, which , compared to the Gosport shoot , is , let’s be fair ,nowhere near as good , and now will be packed out, can’t Gosport council find somewhere else for the club?.

Absolutely terrible news.
So, the Council are going to simply put aside the time G&L have been there providing an amazing shooting Venue!
They will build a whole load of Cheap rubbish houses on the Land and fill them full of Scumbags.
Really sad news this is.
